My Story
I went to a great university, and although I received an outstanding education, I felt that my degree was useless. I also had over $30, 000 in student loans as a daily reminder of my expensive education. After I graduated from college I couldn't wait to start my $30,000 a year job. Instead I sold shoes for $10.50 an hour
In my desire to get out of debt, I read several self-help and "get out of debt books". They were fine, and I learned a few things about money, but I needed more. They presented general information, and I wanted names, places and numbers to call. I wanted step-by-step instructions, sample letters. I wanted to know what companies to write to, whom to call and what to say. I wanted a "how to book" that really showed me how. I wanted a book for the financially challenged and I wanted one that addressed the plight of the broke graduate. I couldn't find such a book, so I created the kind of book that I had been looking for. The concept of the book came about when I spoke with friends and began to researc h programs and ideas that could actually work for someone with limited financial resources. Throughout my research I was amazed to find many financial opportunities that were not well advertised.
I must warn you I am not a certified financial advisor and this book will not cure all your problems nor will it turn you into the next Warren Buffett. It is the aim to provide advice, tips and resources that are useful and will set you on the path to financial success
